Word from the Mission Field

Continued from Friday

2 Chronicles 20:15

Yesterday, we read about the amazing battle that God fought for King Jehoshaphat when he was facing the armies of the children of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir. The “battle belonged to the Lord.” As the people of Judah began to sing and dance and praise the Lord, God fought the battle for them. He turned Ammon and Moab “against” the people of Mount Seir…and then, the people of Ammon and Moab “turned against each other, and killed one another, so that when the people of Judah came to the watch-tower, all they saw were “dead bodies” on the ground.

But, that’s not all; not only did God win this great battle, but King Jehosaphat and his people saw that there was an “abundance of precious jewels, more than they could carry away, and they were there three days gathering all of the spoil, it was so much!

“And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” -2 Chronicles 20:15

God is not only able to “fight this battle for you,” but also to “bring you forth with many blessings.” God can turn everything around, and not only fight your battle, but “bless you even more than before!”

God puts finances in the hands of His children that He can trust! Have a great day, and we pray God’s blessings upon you, according to Psalms 41:1-3!
