“Leaving A Legacy…”

Someone once said, “It’s not what you take with you when you go, it’s what you leave behind that counts…”
Jesus said, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Matthew 6:19-21

So many people spend their lives on material things…bigger, and more costly. Many are always trying to keep up with the Joneses, but these things will all perish. But Jesus said, “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Or, “Where your heart is, there is where your treasure will be.” Pray about “Leaving A Legacy” behind for the poor.
