God Always Has a “Ram in the Bush!”

Have you ever felt “boxed in a corner?” Or, have you ever felt, “there’s no way out of this?” All of us have!!
In Genesis, God gave Abraham a specific commandment:

Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.” – Genesis 22:2

This would have shattered any God-fearing Christian but remember, this child was the “child of Abraham’s old age.” He was the child of the promise. Abraham and Sarah had this child in their old age when it would have been impossible to have a child!

Now, God is testing Abraham, telling him to “offer his son” as a sacrifice. Obedience came down to the last second. As Abraham held the knife in his hand, an angel stopped him and gave him a message from God! And, at that very moment, Abraham hears the bleating of a ram, caught in the bushes by his horns. “And Abraham went and took the ram and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.”

Whatever you are facing today, no matter what, “God has a ram in the bush!” He always has a “way out” for every situation we face, and it may shock you, to see what or who God uses! So, lift those feeble hands that hang down, and begin to praise the Lord!
