Five loaves of bread and two fishes! Jesus can multiply what you have!

“There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” John 6:9

“And a great multitude followed him [Jesus], because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.” John 6:2

There were around 5,000 men, plus women and children. They were tired and hungry. This lad, whom his mother had sent to the store to buy five loaves and two fishes for the family, ran into Peter, along with some of the disciples. Jesus had need of the five loaves and two fishes. Jesus prayed and blessed the loaves and fishes… it multiplied and fed thousands of people! When they were all done eating, Jesus said, “Gather up the fragments and leftovers.” They had 12 baskets of bread and fish leftover!!!

The little boy came home with friends helping him carry the 12 baskets. His mom probably looked out of the window and saw this. She probably said, “Son, I didn’t’ tell you to buy all of this!” He would have said, “I ran into Jesus, and he multiplied my five loaves and two little fishes.”

Jesus can take what you have today and multiply it!! PTL!
