Leviticus 23:22 – “And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger…” No matter what kind of job we have or no matter how small our income may be, we are commanded by God to “leave something for the poor.” It may be the man sleeping on the street or the mother with pain in her eyes… slip “something” in their hands and God will bless you more.
