Sometimes we are so quick to judge, “who is a Christian and who is not and who will make it into Heaven and who will not.” God is the judge! He sees things we cannot see in the natural. Take this scripture for instance. “For the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in the earth beneath.” Joshua 2:11 – Spoken by a Christian? No, a prostitute! Her name was Rahab, and she was the one who protected the spies that Joshua sent out to spy on Jericho. She hid them in her house, on the wall, which surrounded Jericho. When the King sent his men to her house to get the spies, she sent them on a “wild goose chase.” Then, she let the men down by a “scarlet thread,” or rope. (The symbol of her prostitution.) Joshua’s spies agree to save her and her family when they invade the city. She tells them to look for the “scarlet thread” on the wall, and that will be her household and her salvation.
