Word from the Mission Field

Ever play “hide and go seek?” Those games we played when we were children were fun but had an everlasting meaning. We can never “hide” from God. His eyes are always “watching over his children.”

Another game we played was “coin in hand.” We wanted to see if we could “pry open” that strong hand and get the coin. The Lord refers to us as “His sheep.”

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me…neither shall any man ‘pluck’ them from out of my hand. My Father, which gave them to me, is greater than all; and ‘no man’ is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.” – John 10 27-29

Close your eyes and imagine that God has you “in the palm of His hand,” with his fist clenched tight! No one, no circumstance, nothing can pluck you out of that “hand.” It is the safest place to hide!

In the midst of what is going on in our country, the pandemic, the threats from other countries, other threats within, imagine your fist clutched tight around a small coin, and you are that “small coin.” No man can pluck you out of your father’s hand!

God bless you, and remember these words… “no man can pluck you out of your father’s hand!”

Blessings!
Sherry
