“Think on these things…”

In the last few days, I have caught myself “worrying” about the future… our rights being taken away and the “freedom of speech.” I found myself thinking that the “signs of the times are upon us,” sooner than we thought. But, all of a sudden, it was as if the Lord came down and said this, “think on these things.”

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts, and minds through Jesus Christ. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:7-8

Our “battle” is not with the outside… our battle is in our mind. We must keep our thoughts on the Lord, what He has done for us, how He has blessed us, how He has delivered us, how He has healed us, how He has brought us peace and joy. We must “think on these things,” and not on the things that bring fear, worry, and stress. God has a plan!!
