Forgiveness: Colossians 3:13 – “Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.”

When we don’t forgive, it can be as heavy as a sack of salt. The Haitians have a proverb that says, “Shame is heavier than a sack of salt.” Not forgiving is the same, and just as heavy. You are the one who is carrying it around. Lay it at the feet of Jesus, forgive, and go on.
