“JEHOVAH, IS THE GOD OF HEAVENLY ARMIES!”

Have you ever been in “real battle” with things of this world? We have the best soldiers in the world! As we watch them on TV, we see them as warriors, and yet, we see the tenderness they have for the poor, for those in trouble. We love them, we respect them, we value them. They are there to “fight our battles.”

David, in the Bible, was always at war… either with Saul, his number one enemy, or with other evil people, such as the Philistines, the Amorites, etc. But he did not realize that he had the “entire Host of Heavenly Armies” on his side!

In Heaven, we have “an army” of God ready to fight! In II Samuel 5:10, the Bible says, “And David went on and grew great, and the Lord of Hosts was with him.” I was curious about this scripture and found out that the real translation is: “And Jehovah, the God of the Heavenly Armies,” was with him! II Samuel 5:10, the “Jehovah, the God of the Heavenly Armies,” is still here today! We cannot see them, we cannot hear them, but “Jehovah, the God of the Heavenly Armies,” is always ready to go to battle for you! Remember, this battle is “not yours.” It belongs to God, “Jehovah, the God of the Heavenly Armies!” He fought for David and many of His children and He will fight for you! Be Strong in the Lord, your God!!!
