Genesis 32:24

“The greater the battle, the greater the blessing… The greater the blessing, the greater the battle.” There is a price tag on everything in our lives. In order to “get the blessing” we pray for, there will always be a “battle” first. Nothing comes without a cost. Nothing comes without a fight. In Genesis 32:24, Jacob met up with a man that “wrestled” (fought) with him, but Jacob did not know he was an Angel. The Angel was losing the fight so he “touched the hollow of Jacob’s thigh, and made it out of joint.” But, even with this, Jacob still wrestled with him and was winning. The Angel said, “Let me go,” but Jacob said, “I won’t let you go until you bless me.” Jacob had a wrestling match with an Angel, and won! But from that time on, he had pain in his thigh because it was out of joint. If you want a blessing, a healing, a better job, a better home, a better husband (Ha), or anything… you must be prepared for the “battle.” “The greater the battle, the greater the blessing… The greater the blessing, the greater the battle.” Be prepared for what you are praying for, and have a great day!
