At an Inconvenient Time…
“Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not unto thy neighbor, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.” Proverbs 3:27-28
Every one of us, at some time or another, will have the opportunity to help someone who is very poor, very hungry, or in a great need. The need may catch us when we are tired, upset, or have a lot of problems on our heart, but that’s usually the time the Lord sends us the opportunity to help someone. He usually sends them in an “inconvenient time,” like the widow woman in the Bible who knocked on the door of the judge.
Each day, we must be sensitive to the Spirit of the Lord, who may put someone in our path, so that we can let the light of the Lord shine. Remain vigilant… Always be ready to go, to give, and to help someone, even at a time, when you are the busiest, or when you are tired. Have a wonderful day, and be ready for the Lord to use you, Sherry
