Jesus said, “Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things…” Matthew 25:23 – Sometimes, Christians don’t want to do the “small things,” they want to do the big things. One of our friends told us years ago, “I’ll become a pastor when the Lord gives me a large church and 1,000 people to start it.” Well, that never happened. He should have said, “I will find a room to rent and begin with four or five or how many the Lord gives me.” The Lord always wants to see if we are faithful in small things (like cleaning the church) or a small prayer meeting of giving the little we have.
