When Joseph was thrown into the pit, God arranged for a band of Egyptians to buy him and take him to Egypt to Potiphar’s house, who was under the Pharaoh. He was falsely accused of trying to have a relationship with Potiphar’s wife, so he was thrown into prison in a dungeon. But, that could not stop the “blessings of God” from his life. He interpreted the dreams of Pharaoh and Pharaoh made him “ruler under Pharaoh,” second in command. He put a ring on Joseph’s hand, and fine linen clothing, and a gold chain around his neck, and made Joseph ride in the chariot behind him. And we think God can’t give us divine favor? He can!!
