“Take up your cross and follow me…” We all have crosses. Some are families, some are physical problems and others have different crosses. The story is told of a great pile of “crosses.” One man thought his cross was too heavy and he set it on the ground and began to dig through a huge pile of crosses. After hours, he spotted the smallest cross, and picked it up, and then he realized that it was the same cross he came with and it had been the lightest. Jesus said, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Matthew 16:24 – This is daily and total commitment to “follow” Jesus. Can you do it?
