A Ram in the Bush… In Genesis, chapter 22, we read the heart wrenching story of Abraham and his son Isaac. Abraham had waited many, many years for this little boy, the son of God’s promise. One day, God says to Abraham, “I want you to take your son, your only son, whom you love, and go up to Mount Moriah and offer him as a burnt offering…” As Abraham (now up in years) took little Isaac up there, his heart must have been breaking, but in complete obedience, and just as the knife was in his hand, God stopped him, and spoke to him, and just then, God provided a “ram in the bush” for the sacrifice. When we do all that we can do, God always has a “ram in the bush” that we never counted on! Don’t be afraid to go “all the way” with Jesus! Blessings this day! Sherry
