Word from the Mission Field – 03-15-17

“Trusting God Through Hard Times…” It happens to us all, but when trials come, do we “blame God, or trust God?” My favorite book in the Bible is Job. He was a very rich and well respected man. He had seven sons and three daughters, and he also had 7,000 sheep; 3,000 camels; 500 yoke of oxen; 500 she asses; and a great household. God was so proud of Job, and had so much confidence in Job that He allowed Satan to try Job. Job lost everything…all his livestock, all his children were killed by a storm when eating together, and Job ended up with boils covering his body so badly that he sat in the ashes and scraped them with a potsherd…yet he said, But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:10 – If you are going through a trial today, trust God! Oh, yes, if you want to know the end of Job, read Job 42:12-17 to see how God blessed Job for his faithfulness! God bless you, Sherry
