“The Lord is MY shepherd; I shall not want.” (I shall not want for anything.) Psalms 23:1-6 – Here we see the young man, David, a shepherd who knows and understands the relationship between the shepherd and the sheep, more than anyone. A shepherd who loves his sheep, like a father loves his children, protecting them, feeding them, and only leading them by the “still waters.” Jesus said, “My sheep know my voice…and a stranger they will not follow.” All we have to do is be a “sheep,” and let the Lord be our loving shepherd.
