“Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord shall fight for you.” Deuteronomy 3:22 – If there was ever a time that I could have been afraid, it would be countless times here in Haiti while facing things like crazed men blocking the road, and burning tires holding gallons of gasoline in their hands while wearing red (mouchwa) scarves around their heads. Other times that we’ve been afraid have been while facing witch doctors and voodoo men. That is when “fear meets FAITH in God.” It has happened to us so many times here in Haiti that we are not afraid of them. God is with us.
