Joshua had taken the place of Moses to lead the children of Israel, and now five kings of the Amorites were making war against Gibeon and were encamped against it. They called on Joshua for help… The Lord told Joshua, “Fear not, for I have delivered them into thine hand!” Even though the Israelites were outnumbered, the Lord sent His angels and slew the enemy and chased them, but then the Lord reigned great “hailstones” from Heaven and slew them, and the Bible says, “that there were more that died from the hailstones than from the children of Israel!”
That battle was so “hot,” and they were killing so many of the enemy that Joshua “commanded the sun to stand still,” so the Israelites could “finish off the enemy!” And it happened! When it looks like the “odds are stacked up against you,” God has a “miracle” with your name on it! You are always on the “winning side!” Have a great day! Sherry
