When we first moved to Haiti, we had very little electricity. We had blackouts 90 percent of the time. We learned to live by candlelight. It was amazing how dark it could be until you “lit that candle.” The Lord calls us “candles.” “Ye are the light of the world. A city set on a hill that cannot be hid.” And then, He calls us to shine out a light “into the world so that everyone can see Jesus.” Matthew 5:14-16 — You may be the only “candle” someone sees today. Let your light shine! Sherry
