Word from the Mission Field: 1-6-18 6:15 AM

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not grow weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 — Sometimes, it’s harder to “wait” than to go ahead and do something we should not do. Waiting on the Lord for the answer, the right move, the right job, the right husband or wife, and making our own decisions can get us into trouble. Waiting requires trusting, and while we are waiting, we should be praising God ahead of time for the answer. Joshua had to ask the Israelites to march around the walls of Jericho for days in silence. Then, when God said, “Blow your horn,” and shout, the walls came down! Right now, you are waiting on the Lord and “circling the walls of your problem,” but soon it will be time to “blow your horn and shout,” for the walls are about to come down! Have a great day!
