Hurricane Matthew caused much fear as it swept over Haiti and other places crushing and destroying anything in its path. In “Matthew 14,” the disciples were also caught in the midst of a storm on a small boat. You may be in a “storm” right now. It could be a divorce, bad news from the doctor or your child is on drugs or you have lost your home, but if you are in a “storm,” Jesus is walking to you on the water saying the same thing He said to His disciples… “It is I; be not afraid.” Jesus is always the “I” of the storm!
