“And this is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord…” 2 Kings 3:18 – I love to read about the miracles in the Bible. In this chapter, three Kings joined together to go to war against Moab, the King of Israel, the King of Judah, and the King of Edom. None of these guys were serving the Lord. In fact, they had false gods they were serving. After journeying seven days to fight against the King of Moab, they realize there is no water for their soldiers, or their cattle. They got scared and called upon the prophet Elisha. God must have had mercy upon them, for He said, “Make this valley full of ditches.” Then the Lord said, “Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink…And this is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord.” “I will deliver the Moabites in your hand!” Sometimes, when we are in the middle of a crisis, we limit God, but God’s ways are so great that He is saying to you, “This is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord!” I can even do greater than you can imagine!
