“Keep on knockin…” Years ago, there was a belief going around that you “should only ask God once” for something, and not ask Him again. The story is told in Luke 18:1-8 about a lady who had “persistent faith.” She had gone to the judge and “knocked on his door for help,” but he would not open the door. She did not go away, and she kept on knocking. The judge said he opened the door because “lest by her continual coming she weary me.” God never gets tired of hearing His children “knock on His door.” Faith keeps on knocking until someone opens…and His name is Jesus!
