“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.“ I Corinthians 15:58 — Sometimes, it is easy to get discouraged when we don’t see results “quickly.” Years ago, I was sent to see a lady whose belly was horribly swollen. She was lying on the floor and could not move. After weeks of sending her to hospitals and spending a lot of money on her, I found out that she had taken my money and went to a witch doctor. She promised she would “come to church” and give her heart to the Lord. On Sunday she was there and yes, she went up to the altar and prayed a simple prayer, but I saw no change in her. I was so mad at her. I thought, “well, she just came to church so I would not be angry.” But, the next day, I saw her coming across the field and she was happy, thin with no stomach and had her hands in the air praising God. “Madamn Sherry, I found Jesus!” So, don’t be discouraged, God’s timing is not ours and “our labor is not in vain in the Lord!” God bless you, Sherry
