“Then he turned his face to the wall…” 2 Kings 20:2 — How would you feel today, if the one “man of God,” Pastor, Evangelist, Bible teacher, the one you had the most confidence in the world, appeared at your door and told you, “set yourself in order. For you shall die and not live.” Wow. That’s what the Prophet Isaiah told King Hezekiah. He said, “You shall die, and not live.” Maybe a doctor has told you the same thing, or one of your loved ones. Hezekiah “turned his face to the wall and prayed.” That’s what we need to do when we get bad news. The Lord spoke to him and said, “I have heard your prayers and seen your tears.” And the Lord “not only healed him,” but He delivered the city from the King of Assyria.
