“What to Do in Times of Trouble.”

How would you feel, if someone told you that “tomorrow” you would be executed or killed for serving the Lord? Or how would you take it if you got “bad news” that regarded your very life? In Daniel the 6th Chapter, King Darius had just been tricked into ordering a decree, that whosoever would not fall down and worship an idol, would be “cast into the den of lions.” What did Daniel do? Did he cry, have a nervous breakdown, or lose sleep over it? No! He did what he had always done. “He went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.” Daniel 6:10

Is God, whom you serve, able to deliver you from the “lions” in your life?” Daniel said, “My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths…” Daniel 6:22 — He is the God of Daniel and He is your God! Praise God! Sherry
