“But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?” 1 John 3:17
It is difficult to live here in Haiti and see the great difference between the rich and the poor. While driving to some of our mountain schools, we pass houses that are three stories high, where the rich live…yet, across the dirt road is a poor family, where the mother tries to decide how to feed her children each day? It is not a sin to be rich… Abraham was very rich, Job was rich, and others, but they were giving people and their riches did not “posses them.” We are only blessed by God to be able to see a need and share what we have? Today, be the “eyes and ears and hands of God,” and look for that person to bless. Have a great day! Sherry
