“Don’t Even Think About It.”

Living here in Haiti has taught us many great “faith lessons.” We sometimes “don’t even think about it” when we turn on a shower and get water for a bath or, reach into a refrigerator and get a snack or, pull up to the gas station and put gas in our car. How would you feel if you had to “sit in your car” in a long line of hundreds of cars because there were no more stations open? That’s what we had to do during the “Embargo” in Haiti. Then, when and if you got close to the gas station, there would be hundreds of Haitians with tap-taps (public transportation) fighting and blocking the way to the pump, and threatening to kill someone for a gallon of gas!   But, Jesus said, “If we seek God first, He will give us all these other things we need.” And He did. In the middle of the Embargo, when there were no cars, or vehicles on the main road, God has provided each month, enough gas for our truck, by a miracle. Many times, we were the “only vehicle” on the main road in Delmas.  “Therefore, take no thought, (Don’t even think about it) what you are going to eat, or drink, or where your next job will come from. Jesus said, “Your Father already knows what you need.” Just keep your eyes on Him! Bobby and Sherry
