“A God of ‘More than Enough!’”
Matthew 14:16-21 shares the story of Jesus feeding the hungry people who came to Him. The only thing they had to feed the “thousands” that came was “five loaves and two fishes.” Counting the crowd, they estimated it to be “5,000 men” besides women and children. But, the small offering of “five loaves and two fishes” was given and Jesus blessed it! When they finished giving food to everyone, the Bible says, “they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full!” Why serve a God of “just enough to get by” when we can serve the God that is a God “of more than enough.” If we only have “enough to get by on,” we cannot give to others. Thank God, He is always a God of “more than enough!” Have a great day! Sherry
