“Keep Your Eyes on the Prize!”

In the days of Apostle Paul, they had great “Olympic Races” and contests. Apostle Paul used many common things to relate to God and how to serve Him. 1 Corinthians 9:24 talks about the “race.” They would have related to this, “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.” Then he talked about “boxing.” “So fight I, not as one that beateth the air.” 1 Corinthians 9:26

To those who train for the Olympics, they drive their bodies to the limit; they fight pain, tiredness, weakness, and mental battles. They “run” to receive the prize! We are all in the “race.” We cannot quit! The “finish line” is just ahead!!! Keep your eyes on the prize! That is living with Jesus forever!!! That is the end of the race! So run!!! God bless you.
