“Do What You Can, To Get to Jesus!”

Nothing is easy in life and when “bad things happen,” we can either lie down and let it run over us or “do what we can, to get to Jesus.” In Matthew 9:20, a woman with an issue of blood, fought her way through the crowd to “touch the hem of His garment.” Zacchaeus climbed a sycamore tree. In the midst of a storm at sea, Peter “walked on water” when Jesus said, “Come!” Living here in Haiti for 26 years has shown me that when the Haitian people want something, they will do anything to get it. They will push, shove, and fight their way through a crowd. Sometimes, we have to “fight our way through some invisible forces of Satan,” to get to Jesus, but when we do, it is worth it!
