“Two sticks and a handful of meal…” I love the story of the widow woman in 1 Kings 17:1-16 — There was a famine in the land and God told Elijah that He was “sending Elijah to the widow woman to take care of him.” But now, we see the widow woman and her son were starving and getting ready to “bake her last cake, eat it and die” but the man of God said, “Bake me a cake first and then feed you and your son.” What a miracle! Sometimes, we are afraid to give, when we have little left, but that is when the blessing begins! Blessings, Sherry
