“For the Lord seeth not as man seeth…” I Samuel 16:7 — So often, we try to judge someone by their outside appearance. Years ago, when we first moved to Haiti, we lived high in the mountains and we had a skinny Haitian mechanic by the name of Nelio. This young man was always “under the hood” of our junk vehicles, which were constantly breaking down here in Haiti. One morning, Nelio had the hood up, was covered with grease and working on the vehicle. Bobby came to me and said, “Sherry, God just spoke to me about Nelio. One day, he will run Love A Child here in Haiti!” I said, “Bobby, he can’t even speak English, how could he run Love A Child in Haiti?” Today, Nelio oversees all our work here in Haiti.
