“… for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” 1 Sam.16:7 — When we first moved to Haiti, we lived in Mt. Noire in the mountains. We had a young mechanic, named Nelio. He was always fixing one of our junk trucks, which were always breaking down. One day, while Nelio was working under the hood of our truck, he had his shirt off and sweat was pouring down his back and he was full of grease. Bobby came and stood beside me and said, “See that young man, Nelio? God just spoke to me and said “He will run everything for Love A Child in Haiti. I said, “Bobby, he can’t speak English.” Later, Nelio learned English quickly and he is the Haitian Director of Love A Child. God could never have chosen anyone better!
