Here in Haiti, the past two weeks have been “test weeks” at school. There is no entire school that lets all students take their tests at one time. (Maybe they are afraid the kids will cheat on exams!)

As a result, only a small number take their tests at one time (class by class, etc.). This means that “lots of kids are at home” and there is a “lot of noise!” I put them all to work on “closet cleanout,” and the winners got to go on the “Slip ‘N Slide!”

And, the winners were… “Ti David, Dorissant, Wiggins (Jacque), Fabiola, Betina, Ti Mika, and Rodna! The rest had to “give it another whirl!” When we have a lot of kids “inside” and there is a lot of echo in the house, it becomes “very noisy!” These are the days when the kids learn good responsibility, and when I get “peace and quiet!” They are good kids, but they have a “lot of energy!!” Ha!
