Our sweetie, Yolanda, is now in Junior High and doing really well! She loves cooking in the kitchen and she says that some day she’ll be a nurse! She was born in the mountains in the village of Covant, (or Bel Fontaine), and we believe her father was Dominican. Her mother died shortly after her birth. Since her father was unable to care for her and her siblings, the local Pastor asked us to take her in… This is the “only home” she has ever known.

Yolanda loves music, plays the drums, and is on the Praise Dance Team. She loves to cook and she loves to eat! She is tall and beautiful and “girly,” but put her on the “Basketball Court” and she is “scary!” Ha! But even though she is tall and beautiful and girly, she still loves to play “jumprope” with the younger girls! We love Yolanda very much!!!
