We found him when we first started our orphanage in Bwa Monquet, Haiti. He was being raised by an older relative, but life was not good for Yonel. He was thin, bony, and starving. We knew he would not live if we didn’t take him into our orphanage. Yonel would survive and grow. Later, we gave him a job as the “Supervisor of the Depot.” He must log in everything that is donated or purchased that goes into our depot… food, clothing, children’s clothes, sewing machines, etc. He does a wonderful job! He is a devout Christian, is married, and has a little boy. We love Yonel, and we are so proud of him.
