We first met “Yonel” when he was just a tiny, malnourished little boy. His parents were “gone,” and he was being raised by his poor, elderly grandmother. She brought him to our Mobile Clinic in the mountains. He had severe malnutrition and was near death. We told the grandmother we would “do our best” to raise him, but he needed a miracle! On the way back to our orphanage, he had been in the truck with some of our workers… and he ate 8 mangos on the way home.

He was “near death,” but we all worked hard to save him! God “brought him back from the dead!” It took a long time for him to regain what little bit of health he had! Yonel now runs our large warehouse! He is responsible for everything inside! He is now married and has a cute little boy! He has been a great blessing!
