Davidson is the twin brother of David. Their last name is Noel…
One Christmas evening, while we were at our old “rented orphanage,” an old lady named “Madamn Noel” appeared at our gate with a baby in her arms. She was with a man who also had a baby in his arms. They had traveled far from the mountains to bring the twins to us. Their mother had died during childbirth, and their father could not care for them. The babies were “hanging on to life by a thread.”
Their grandmother had no money for milk; normally, she would have given them “sugar water,” but had no money for sugar. She had been feeding them “salt water!” Their throats were swollen, and they were near death!
When we took them in, they cried 24/7! Their throats were so swollen they could barely breathe! One of our workers, Madamn Jan, took on the responsibility to feed them! It was quite a job!
But, they survived! Jonathan is studying photography in college; his brother is studying there too. Thank you, partners!
What an impact you have made on Haiti’s future, by investing in these lives.
