“I know something you don’t know…”
This is little Witise, age three, from the mountains of Peyi Pouri, Haiti. We sent some of our workers there yesterday to check on some poor families.
One of them snapped this picture of a little girl named “Witise.” Her family is so poor and live meagerly, but you would never know by her smile that she often “goes to bed hungry.” A Creole proverb says, “A Haitian smiles when he should be crying.” How true that is, they can manage a smile on an “empty stomach.”
We pray that the Lord will help us expand our feeding programs and sustainability programs.
Thank you, partners,
Bobby and Sherry
