Here is part of our 1,600 school children being fed their “Feed My Starving Children” meals, yesterday. You may wonder… “What’s in the meals?”
FMSC food has soy, fiber, rice, vegetables, plus all the vitamins and minerals a growing child needs. In addition, “our cooks add all sorts of spices, etc., by blending Haitian spices, epis, onion, garlic, leek, oil, celery, sweet peppers, Maggi, another spice, and fish.”
Then comes the sauce on top! Tomato sauce, onions, pi mandous, green peppers, Maggi, citron, vinegar, orange, more fish. Salt and pepper in the meal.
It all varies by day. This was yesterday’s! The children love their lunch!!
“Thank you,” to our grown boys, Dieuferly, Jean Gardy, and their staff for taking on the responsibility of preparing, cooking, and delivering all the meals.
Widelene, Natalie, and some of our girls volunteered to be part of this.
Thank you for your prayers and support to make all this possible.
“Love is something you do!”
