Zachary is five now and in the 1st grade, and he is the “baby.” We found Zachary years ago when his mother brought him to our clinic. He was just a few months old. Everyone knew that his mother was deeply involved in Voodoo. While she was at our clinic, she had mentioned that she wanted to “kill her baby!” When the nurses heard this, they asked if we would drive her home and get the baby! As we arrived at the house, several neighbors told us that she said she was going to “kill the baby.”

We called the Department of Social Services, and they told us to “take the baby and leave!” And that’s exactly what we did! Today, Zachary is five and is “so, so sweet!” Another life saved! God bless all our partners!
