She’s a happy little three-year old and smiles all the time, but not for photos! She gets kind of scared. Zoey is in preschool two at Love A Child. Zoey thinks she is a “big girl,” because she is always with the older girls in their room. She wants to be on the Praise Dance Team! She is “smart as a whip!” She is “sweet and un-spoiled.”

Zoey’s mother came from the poor village of New Letant. She was found on the road, abandoned, as our vehicle came down that muddy road. We took her to Social Services, but they insisted we keep her. So, we did.

The first six months were murder! She screamed and cried all the time! But, when she turned about two, she got better, and it was due to her being with the older girls. She’s “all girl” and loves clothes. One of our partners sent us clothes to share with our children and give away. Zoey got the dresses! She loves to “dress up!” We love Zoey! She’s “all girl!”
