“Santa Claude” has just been “overwhelmed” with Christmas! He’s going “into hiding” until next year!! Ha!
Our children just took down the Christmas tree, etc., and old “Santa Claude” (who was given to us by one of our dear friends, Papa Glenn.) “Santa” is headed back to our depot to recuperate from this past Christmas! Stanley, one of our older kids, is taking the decorations back to the warehouse. This Christmas, our children went to “Pastor Claude’s Orphanage” to give them gifts and help serve a big meal, donated by some of our dear partners, David and Angie George!! There were lots of gifts, food, drinks, etc. that were sponsored by our wonderful friends to give to poor children in an orphanage. That day brought great joy to the children in Pastor Claude’s Orphanage!
I know a lot of people would not like us “sharing Christmas,” and having a plastic Santa Clause, but this doesn’t “rock the faith,” of our children! They all “celebrate Jesus!” Each year, they “drag out Santa,” and “light up the tree,” and sing Christmas songs! It is a time to have “a little bit of happiness,” in the midst of all riots, gangs, and dangers of living in Haiti! So, we can understand why “Santa,” is knocked out!
We love you, friends, and partners; we all know that now, we have “bigger things to worry about” than a plastic Santa! Have a great day and remember that Jesus is “still on the throne!”
