Rodna Joseph is now 11 years old and in fifth grade. Her mother died when she was young, and her father had to “borrow” the money for her funeral. The man he borrowed the money from was so evil that he kidnapped all the rest of the children. He held them for ransom. Sadly, the kidnapper “never returned the children.” Her father became so distressed and couldn’t work. Rodna suffered from malnutrition. So, he brought her to our orphanage. Rodna adapted quickly to love.
Rodna loves to work… she sweeps and mops the floors, helps take care of the little ones, helps iron clothes, and anything she is asked to do. When I look at her, I realize she could have been kidnapped, but now, she is here today, growing up into a beautiful young girl. Rodna loves to sing in our church services here at the Love A Child Children’s Home. Her dream, for now, is to be a nurse, but we will see. Right now, she is a “little miracle” that God sent to us and we love her!
