Forty-one-year-old Mery Dieudane lives high in the mountains of Haiti with her three children. She buys items and re-sells them to make a little living for her children.

There were no clinics, no hospitals, or even a nurse where she lived… and she was not a Christian.

She began to have very bad pain in her foot, and it continued for 12 days. It started with a small sore but grew worse. So, she went to the local witch doctor!! She spent “several days at the witch doctor’s hut,” but she grew worse. (And he took nearly all her money!)

Someone told her to go to Love A Child, and with the little money she had, she took a motorcycle down the mountain to our Jesus Healing Center. Our staff quickly took her to the ER, where our doctors worked a long time on her foot to clean out the infection and stop the bleeding. Love A Child doctors cleaned her wound, and then she was given painkillers and antibiotics. Our Pastor ministered to her and prayed for her. She was given a Joyce Meyer Ministries Gospel Booklet. Then, our ambulance sent her on to the Hospital! She really received a miracle that day! God planted a seed in her heart, and we believe her life will be changed! The witch doctor lost another case!
