So many of our friends and partners have asked us, “Bobby and Sherry. Haiti is so dangerous, and you always have to go through so much just to bring containers of food into Haiti. It is dangerous! Many Americans have left. Why are you still there?”

Well, one reason is, of course, all the hungry children. Food is so rare that the majority have no food to eat before they go to school and nothing or very little when they arrive home.

Another reason we are still here is that the poor still need free health care, which our Jesus Healing Center provides. And poor mothers cannot afford a doctor to pay for delivery. Our Birthing Center saves lives, and there are so many other outreaches for the poor that would stop!

But one of our greatest responsibilities is our Orphanage or “Children’s Home!” We have young ones growing up and older children that need to go to college or a trade school! We see their faces and their hope! We are “Mommy and Daddy!”

It is a big responsibility, but we love them!
