Bringing little miracles home, every day.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.Proverbs 22:6
Missionaries Bobby and Sherry Burnette started Love A Child Orphanage in response to the staggering number of children found abandoned, abused, orphaned, enslaved, malnourished, or desperately needing medical attention. Our Children’s Home provides a loving, Christian home for children living in otherwise hopeless situations.
A promise between two mothers…
Over twenty years ago, a dying mother prayed with Sherry at one of our Mobile Medical Clinics; she whispered her last final earthly request, “Please take care of my four children after I die.”
Sherry promised the young woman that she would take care of her children, love, and care for them as her own. Those four frightened, sick, and malnourished children were Love A Child’s first orphans.
Before long, Bobby and Sherry took in more children desperate for care.
God’s confirmation to Bobby and Sherry came when they were gifted a large tract of land by a Haitian national who’d fled Haiti for the United States during notorious “Papa Doc” Duvalier’s presidential reign.
The largest facility of its kind, our 21,500-sq. ft. Children’s Home in Fond Parisien, was to be the site of God’s glorification in the lives of countless souls.
Thank you, dear Partners, who’ve joined the “good fight” in supporting God’s vision for Haiti’s restoration.

Noah… “Left to Die”
The day that this toddler was left on the ground near our front gate, nearly dead, is a day I will never forget. He had been starved, beaten, and had “bite marks” on him. He
